This morning I stopped by the Elementary playground in Mazeppa to see some artwork being added to the blacktop by our teachers, staff, Mr. Rasmussen, and PTO. No doubt about it, we have the best PTO around supporting our schools. Thank you!

First Grade Bridges Math curriculum has students counting by ones and twos using twin pops as their hands on learning. Yesterday they celebrated with a twin pop party!
Zumbrota and Mazeppa firefighters joined the 8th and 9th graders and their PE teachers for a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb in honor of those firefighters and first responders whose lives were lost trying to save others. Firefighters and teachers each achieved 110 floors, while students worked in teams for their goal, carrying dumbbells and wearing fire equipment to feel just a small, small fraction of what it was like on that tragic day. Our firefighters also paid surprise visits to the Primary students to say hi!
We are so proud of all who participated! #neverforget
