Mrs. Seyffer's Kindergarten Class! Today we are U-unlocking our way to the end of the alphabet in our ABC countdown! We used keys with addition equations to find the matching lock, then ordered our unlocked numbers on a number line up to 20!

Zumbrota-Mazeppa 2nd grade students celebrated the completion of the 2nd grade DARE program. Over the course of 8 lessons, students learned valuable skills to keep them safe at school, at home and in the community. Lessons include topics such as:
-Who to call in an emergency

This year for graduation, Deputy Tiedemann surprised the classes with all new footballs, basketballs, soccer balls and kickballs to be used at recess. They were also treated with root beer floats served up by members of The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office command staff. Students then wasted no time putting the new equipment to good use on the playground!

Today, we celebrated the work of our school house construction class with an end-of-year cookout. Over the course of the school year, I visited on-site many times and was able to watch students implement various skills that they have learned in Mr. Roth's class. Their attention to detail is on full display with this house! Well done, Mr. Roth and students!

The letter S for the Kindergarten ABC Countdown was science day! Mrs. Decker's Class made play-doh volcanos and then put baking soda and vinegar inside to see the reaction! It was a day full of learning, teamwork, and fun!
