Today, I was able to observe a lab in Ms. Quam’s 5th Grade Science class, “Designing the Perfect Pancake.” Did you know that adding 7-Up to pancakes makes them fluffy?! I’m going to try and impress my family with this secret! 😃 Thanks, 5th Grade, for sharing your knowledge and hopefully improving my skills in the kitchen!

Good evening, Zumbrota - Mazeppa families, Students and Staff,
This is Ryan Barnick, Superintendent of ZM Schools. I know it's important for families to have as much planning time as possible to plan accordingly when our school days are altered. Due to an existing blizzard warning for some areas of our school district and forecasted extreme weather conditions for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19th, Zumbrota - Mazeppa Schools will be closed and will not have classes in person. However, tomorrow is a Weather Impacted Learning Day (WILD). If you have any questions related to WILD Day protocol, please reach out to your classroom teacher or principal.
Please note that due to the predicted blizzard warning for the area tomorrow morning through tomorrow night, Cougar Care and Bright Beginnings will also be closed tomorrow. Additionally, Early Childhood Screening that is scheduled for tomorrow will be canceled and rescheduled at a later date.
There is no preschool tomorrow and all Community Education classes are canceled.
All other updates, delays, or cancellations affiliated with the school will be posted to the ZM website, app, and social media.
Thank you. Be safe, Cougars!
