Join Community Ed to see Grease The Musical at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater! Greased-back hair and leather jackets, ponytails and poodle skirts, fast cars and rock’n’roll, Grease is back at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres! Experience the nostalgia of high school in the ‘50s – peer pressure, love, and teenage life set against the campy backdrop of Rydell High! Discover the drama, comedy, and pop-culture satire that has made Grease one of the most popular productions of all time! Don’t forget the music, with songs like “Summer Nights,” “We Go Together,” “Greased Lightnin’,” “Beauty School Dropout” and so many others, including the hits you love from the movie. Have fun as you groove and bop along! A delicious meal will be served prior to the performance, you will have a choice from nine entrees. The entrée will include bread and your choice of coffee, tea, water or milk. The fee includes coach bus transportation, delicious lunch, and theatre ticket. 2nd grade visits Gibbs Farm! We wrapped up our learning units on Immigration and Westward Expansion to explore the ways of life of MN Pioneers and Native Americans. Such a cool learning experience!

Annual Bike Rodeo – All Ages Welcome The bike rodeo course is designed to simulate accrual road situations commonly encountered by bicyclists. The course will focus on the following skills and safety features: signaling, turning, braking, weaving, helmet safety, stop signs, bike inspection, and gear. Bring your bike & helmet! Third graders have been working all year to learn their multiplication facts. Today they were rewarded for their efforts with popcorn and a movie! Students meeting all of their goals earned VIP statues with a special seat, candy, and a drink. Awesome work third graders!

We had an AWESOME morning celebrating at our 2nd Grade/Senior Buddy outdoor fun activity. This is truly an amazing experience for all.

Earlier this week, First Grade went on a field trip to Colvill Park and the Sheldon Theater to watch Charlotte’s Web. Our PTO’s generous funding made it possible for us to offer this experience to our students.
