Today's Section 1AA Softball game v Pine Island will begin at 4:30pm today. Cash only, season passes are not accepted; $10 adults, $5 Students. Enter from West Ave only. Go Cougars!
The third graders created a Zoo! Students researched animals and shared facts about them. They even dressed as their animals! It was a fun and the kdis did great!
Today our 4th graders held their Ellis Island Simulation. Students were given roles, families, and countries they were coming from. It is a great event and couldn't work as well without the support of so many volunteers. Thank you to all!
This week we recognized our April Students of the Month at the Elementary School. Congratulations students, keep it up!

Congratulations to Addy Cordes on her 6th place finish and to Aurora Holyfield on her 7th place finish at the MSHSL Adapted Bowling State Tournament last Friday!
Last week, Mrs. Buss’ 1st grade class paired up with Mrs. Post’s Chemistry students to conduct some exciting lab experiments today. There were definitely some chemical reactions happening! The students had a great time observing, predicting, and learning together. 🧪✨

Yesterday we had an awesome sendoff for our ZM athletes participating on the Goodhue County Gopher Bowling Team! Good luck to our own ZM cougars as they participate at the state tournament! Good luck to Josh, Addy and Aurora!
Each of our senior students has a second-grade buddy, which has been so much fun! Last month, they had a blast with donuts and games, and today they enjoyed playing together outside. This experience has been amazing for both our seniors and second graders!
Dear ZM Families,
It is hard to believe we are already approaching the end of another school year. While we remain focused on finishing the year strong at ZM, we are also beginning to plan for the 2026–2027 school year, including student transportation routes.
If your child(ren) will need school transportation next year, you must complete the transportation registration form for each child. For example, families with three students needing transportation will need to submit the form three separate times — once for each student.
Please note that families who live in town are also asked to complete the form.
To assist us with route planning and scheduling, please complete the registration form(s) by August 1, 2026. Later in August, families will receive a postcard via the United States Postal Service with confirmed pick-up and drop-off locations and times.
