Young Authors Conference
Nine ZM 4th graders attended the 26th annual Young Authors, Young Artists Conference at the Rochester Community and Technical College on May 21st. Published writers, illustrators, artists, and speakers worked with the students to enhance their writing skills and creative expression. Some favorite classes were Meander Books, What Do You See?, and Communicating through Illustration and Design. A great time was had by all involved!

Careers Class Interviews
Students in Ms. Hawbaker's Career's Class were dressed for success when they participated in "getting ready for the real world-type" job interviews. The interviewer said she would have hired some of them on-the-spot and was generally very impressed with how well-prepared they were. Those of us who know ZM students are not surprised!!
